New anti-epidemic measures in Bulgaria

Bulgarian Government has decided to accept the proposals of the National Operational Headquarters and the Minister of Health and as of 27th November 2020 new anti-epidemic measures enter into force in the country.
Below we have outlined some of the measures, which will affect the larger part of the Bulgarian population and the foreign nationals who reside in Bulgaria.
All forms of group activities have been suspended
Classes in schools and universities have been suspended. Kindergartens and nurseries have also been closed.
All congresses, workshops and cultural events have been suspended. The theatres will continue to operate with a capacity of up to 30%.
Individual and collective sports trainings and competitions for persons under 18 years of age are prohibited. Sport events in which adults participate could be conducted without an audience.
Fitness centers and group exercise halls have been closed for visits.
Visit to all restaurants, bars and other entertainment establishments are prohibited, whereas food and drink deliveries remain unrestricted.
Restrictions are introduced for private celebrations and gatherings (weddings, birthdays, funerals). These events could take place with no more than 15 participants.
Stores and shopping malls have been closed
Stores and shopping malls have also been closed. Banks, pharmacies, opticians, pet stores and providers of various types of services will continue to operate. The small or so-called neighborhood stores will also remain open.
Limitation to visit grocery stores and pharmacies
People under 65 years old are not allowed to visit grocery stores from 1:30 pm to 4:30 pm every day.
People under 65 years old are not allowed to visit pharmacies from 08:00 am and 10:00 am and between 1:30 pm to 4:30 pm every day.
